SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year ACE RI awards scholarships to ACE graduating seniors. Students must be active participants in one of the ACE RI programs, meet requirements and submit an application. The scholarship recipients are announced at each years ACE RI Annual Fundraiser. In 2023, $53,000 in scholarships were awarded to Rhode Island students.

Details

Students who wish to apply must be ACE participants in one of the ACE RI sections and meet the minimum attendance requirement (75% of the meetings). The scholarship recipients are announced at the yearly fundraiser event.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

  • Seniors graduating from High School this year

  • Students attending a college, university or trade school to pursue a career in one of the ACE fields

  • 75% active attendance at sessions

REQUIREMENTS

  • One recommendation from an ACE mentor

  • At least one additional recommendation (from a teacher, coach, etc.)

  • High school transcript

  • Short essay-type responses about the student’s educational/career interests

*If students have difficulties obtaining school transcripts or teacher recommendations due to school closures, please contact the scholarship committee to determine what may be used as a substitute.

  3. Click the scholarships tab on the left side of your ACE dashboard.

*Note: Our scholarship is NOT the Blackstone Valley scholarship, it is the ACE RI scholarship.

If you do not see the scholarships tab on your dashboard, contact your team leader. They will need to check that you are marked “active” in the database.
